AN INTIMATE LAKE COMO WEDDING: TATIANA & ALEXEY

Tatiana and Alexey, a wonderfully elegant couple, chose the breath-taking shores of Lake Como for their intimate wedding. Our connection began rather serendipitously—Tatiana and I first met through an online Italian language course. She and her family hold a profound love for Italy and travel here often. By the time Tatiana flew over to meet us in person, she and Alexey had already set their hearts on a venue: a small, sophisticated boutique hotel situated right on the water’s edge. All that remained was for us to visit it together and bring their vision to life.

When the long-awaited day finally arrived, the air was full of beautiful anticipation. There is a well-known Italian proverb, “Sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata” (a wet bride is a lucky bride)—and the rain certainly brought its own touch of romance and luck to the couple. A passing shower could never dampen such a joyous celebration; rather, it added a cosy, cinematic atmosphere to the lake.

The morning unfolded with tender preparations: bridesmaids bustling around the bride and proud, emotional parents eagerly awaiting the grand reveal. The ceremony itself was incredibly touching, held in the warm embrace of their large, close-knit family and dearest friends.

Following the heartfelt vows, the celebration began with an elegant aperitivo, which seamlessly transitioned onto a private boat for a scenic cruise across the waters of Lake Como. Upon returning to the boutique hotel, an exquisite wedding dinner awaited the guests, capping off a meticulously planned and deeply memorable day.
